About Us
MGA originally began as a sharing group in the pre-torrent era (back in the 90s), using bulletin board systems, WinMX and even 2-meter radio to share content with the community. The name MGA stands for Movies, Games & Apps, which reflects our roots and original passion.
Over the years, MGA has evolved into much more. Our journey has taken us through a variety of projects, including:
-
Development contributions to TrinityCore
-
Hosting and managing a wide range of game servers, including:
-
MGAWoW (our flagship World of Warcraft private server with multiple realms).
-
Diablo 3, The 4th Coming, Battlefield 1942, Unreal Tournament 2004, X-Nova, SuperNova, The 4th Coming and much more.
-
-
Launching a retro gaming website, where you can play over 28,000 classic games directly in your browser.
Today
Our primary focus is on MGAWoW, a passion project for the WoW community. As a side venture, we also maintain Retrogames.pro — a hub for nostalgic gaming lovers looking to relive the classics, anytime, anywhere, plus the classic The 4th Coming one of the oldest MMORPGs going.
Whether you’re here to relive the past or explore Azeroth in a new way, MGA is all about sharing the games we love — just like we did back in the day.
