✨ What is ReShade?

ReShade is a tool that lets you add extra visual effects to games — things like better lighting, sharper edges, richer colors, depth of field, and more. Normally, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King doesn’t support these effects, but ReShade makes it possible.

🛠️ How to Install ReShade for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King

1. Download ReShade v6.5.1

2. Run the Setup
   Open the ReShade Setup.exe file.

3. Choose Your Game
   Click “Click here to select a game…” and point it to your World of Warcraft executable. “Wow.exe”

4. Pick Rendering API
   Select Direct3D 9 when prompted.

5. Install Effects
   When asked which effects to install, I recommend:

   • ✅ Full Standard Effects

   • ✅ Full SweetFX
     Then click OK.

6. Finish Installation
   Once the setup says it’s complete, you can close it.

🎮 Using ReShade In-Game

• Launch World of Warcraft.

• You should see a small ReShade notification at the top of the screen.

• Press Home to open the ReShade menu and start the tutorial. Or just click the banner to hide it.

• Changes apply instantly — so head somewhere scenic and tweak settings until your game looks amazing!
